About Hardin Power Group

Transforming challenges into opportunities.

PERSISTENCE AND PURPOSE.

Built the right way.

Hardin Power Group was built the same way lasting businesses always are—through hard work, persistence, and a commitment to doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.

Our story begins in

2001

At a time when uncertainty touched nearly every industry, founder Nick Hardin searched for a new path forward. What started with a borrowed trailer and a handful of surplus electrical parts quickly became Worldwide Electrical Services. Those early years weren’t glamorous, but they shaped the mindset that still defines our company today:
Stay humble. Work hard. Keep going.
Finding a need.
Forging a niche.

Along the way, we identified a gap in the market for recovering, repurposing, and reselling used electrical equipment. But more importantly, we discovered the power of trust. In an industry often driven by short-term wins, we chose a path rooted in honesty, integrity, and follow-through.

THE RIGHT APPROACH

As our founder’s father, Max, often said:

“Do the right thing, and the rest will take care of itself.”

That philosophy became a strategic advantage

Clients who gave us one opportunity quickly became long-term partners. From the Texas Stadium to the Pentagon, we took on projects that challenged us, stretched our capabilities, and expanded our experience. We learned by doing, adapting through setbacks, and strengthening relationships every step of the way.

From the Texas Stadium to the Pentagon, we took on projects that challenged us, stretched our capabilities, and expanded our experience. We learned by doing, adapting through setbacks, and strengthening relationships every step of the way.

As the business grew, so did the vision.

What began as a job-to-job hustle evolved into a leading electrical asset recovery company—investing in inventory, building warehouse capacity, and assembling a team capable of supporting even the most complex, large-scale projects.

Who we are today.

Today, Hardin Power Group is an integrated, single-source solutions firm trusted by general and electrical contractors, data center owner-operators, utilities, and industrial clients nationwide. But at our core, we remain what we’ve always been: a family-driven company that measures success not by the size of the project, but by the trust we earn. Because at the end of the day, it’s not about the equipment we recover. It’s about the relationships we build along the way.
